Ralf-Urs Giesen
Dr.-Ing. Ralf-Urs Giesen studied mechanical engineering with a focus on plastics and process engineering at the University of Paderborn. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Giesen was a project engineer at WÄGA Wärme-Gastechnik GmbH in Kassel. Since 2009, he has been working in the plastics engineering department at the University of Kassel, and since 2013 he has been head of the plastics process engineering department and managing director of the University of Kassel's plastics processing application center (UNIpace). In 2017, he earned his doctorate in the field of electrochromic plastic glazing.
Hans-Peter Heim
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Peter Heim has been head of the Plastics Technology Department at the University of Kassel since 2008. The department is divided into the following sections: Plastics Process Technology, Thermoplastic Lightweight Construction, Materials Development, and Composite Materials and Functional Integration.
